The federal law ratifies the Convention on the Transfer of Convicts between the Russian Federation and the Republic of France signed in Paris on 11 February 2003.
The Convention was developed in view of the Russian Federation’s legal practice and international standards, including the UN Model Agreement on the Transfer of Foreign Prisoners adopted in 1985.
