The heads of the six SCO member states signed a Declaration on the Fifth Anniversary of the SCO and adopted a Statement on International Information Security.
They also signed three documents entitled ”On the SCO Secretary General“, ”On Provisions with Respect to the SCO Secretariat“ and ”On Confirming the Cooperation Programme Between SCO Member States to Fight against Terrorism, Separatism and Extremism in 2007–2009“.
The following documents were signed in the presence of the heads of state: the Agreement on Organizing and Carrying out Joint Antiterrorism Operations on the Territory of SCO Member States, the Cooperation Agreement with respect to Identifying and Severing the Channels by which People Engage in Terrorist, Separatist and Extremist Activities on the Territories of SCO Member States, and an Intergovernmental Cooperation Agreement in the Field of Education.
In addition they approved a Report on the First Session of the SCO Business Council and an Action Plan by SCO Inter-Bank Association Member Banks to Support Regional Economic Cooperation.
