Russian-Kazakhstan talks were held in Almaty

During the meeting Vladimir Putin and Nursultan Nazarbaev discussed various aspects of their bilateral relations, including the development of their trade and economic relations, cooperation in the space and energy sectors, as well as the development of their hydrocarbon resources.

Following the talks the presidents of Russia and Kazakhstan made a Joint Statement. The following agreements were signed in the presence of the heads of state: Agreement between the Government of Kazakhstan and the Eurasian Development Bank on the Conditions Whereby the Eurasian Development Bank can operate on the Territory of Kazakhstan and the Agreement between the Russian Ministry of Information Technology and Communications and the Agency of Information and Communications of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Using the International Dialing Code Seven.

Then Vladimir Putin and Nursultan Nazarbaev made press statements.
