The G8 leaders, the leaders of the five countries invited to the summit (Brazil, India, China, Mexico and South Africa) and the heads of the Commonwealth of Independent States, the African Union and international organisations adopted a joint statement.
The statement resolutely condemns the barbaric terrorist attacks committed on July 11, 2006, in the city of Mumbai and in other parts of India.
