Under the terms of the federal law the organisation that owns the unified gas supply system, or subsidiaries in which it has a 100-percent stake in the charter capital, has the exclusive right to export gas.
The law’s objective is to protect the Russian Federation’s economic interests, fulfil international gas supply commitments and ensure energy security and development of the fuel and energy sector.
