The federal law provides for the possibility of leasing military equipment while engaging in military and technological cooperation with foreign states. The law provides for the corresponding modifications to Article 3 of the Federal Law “On Financial Leases (Leasing)”.

The said measure is designed to develop military and technological cooperation with countries that have limited financial resources and is also considered to be a foreign policy tool.
