During his working trip to the Volga Federal District the head of state visited the capital of Udmurtiya where he took part in the opening ceremony of the VI All-Russia Rural Summer Games.
The President emphasized that for several decades now, the rural games have helped develop national sports in Russia. In turn, promoting physical education and sports helps improve the social situation both in rural areas and in the country as a whole.
