Boris Aleshin and Aleksei Fedorov informed the head of state on measures to establish an unified aircraft manufacturing corporation which will concentrate all the assets of the national aircraft manufacturing industry, including companies such as Irkut, MiG, Sukhoi, Ilyushin, Tupolev.
They propose that the corporation be registered at the end of September 2006 and that it start operating in the first quarter of 2007.
According to Aleksei Fedorov, they also planned to make a number of changes to the Law on Military and Technological Cooperation and the Law on Aviation Activity to allow foreign capital to participate in certain projects up to 49 percent.
