Vladimir Putin sent a telegram of condolences to the President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbaev, regarding the death of miners in an explosion in a mine in the Karaganda region

Vladimir Putin also sent a telegram to the President of Ukraine, Viktor Yushchenko, in which he expressed his condolences with regards to the tragedy that took place in the Zasiadko mine in the Donetsk region and caused a great many victims.

The President of Russia asked Nursultan Nazarbaev and Viktor Yushchenko to transmit his words of support and condolences to the relatives and close ones of those who were killed in mining accidents in Kazakhstan and in Ukraine.
