The commission will coordinate the work of federal, regional and local authorities as they address issues concerning the social and economic development of the regions in Russia’s Southern Federal District.
The commission’s major tasks include developing measures to eliminate the causes and conditions that promote crimes and other criminal offences in the economy. The commission will also prepare proposals to increase the effectiveness of financial and budgetary policy in the Southern Federal District.
The President confirmed the composition of the commission.
The Government of the Russian Federation will supervise the implementation of the commission’s recommendations.
