At the ceremony of the laying of the first stone in the business school in Skolkovo, Vladimir Putin emphasised this project’s innovative character within the national education system. Internationally renown experts, prominent representatives of the business world, Russian and foreign state and public figures are expected to teach students how to resolve real business problems.

Vladimir Putin emphasised that this project is supported by and will continue to be supported by the state through to the national project, Education, but it is being carried out exclusively by private initiative and using private money. The school will have its own capital and the income this capital will produce will allow the school to develop further.

The President expressed his hope that the ambitious plans designed to transform this establishment into one of the world’s most prestigious educational institutions will be implemented.
