The two leaders discussed bilateral trade and economic issues and expressed satisfaction at the level and pace at which relations between the two countries are developing in the gas and energy sector.
The conversation also touched on the situation in the Caspian region. In this respect, both sides noted the need for all the Caspian countries to work constructively together in order to make progress on settling key issues regarding the legal status of the Caspian Sea.
