Vladimir Putin charged Russia's Defense Ministry to help Lebanon in post-war recovery operations in that country

The help will consist of the delivery of technical materials according to the list compiled by the government of the Russian Federation and of Russian participation in restoring various aspects of Lebanon’s transport infrastructure.

The government of the Russian Federation has been charged to take action that will ensure the implementation of the given order.

The President also appointed the first deputy Foreign Minister, Andrei Denisov, and the chief of staff and first deputy head of the Russian Armed Forces Rear Services, General Colonel Dmitrii Bulgakov, as the President’s official representatives when the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of Russia examines the issue of using elements of Russia’s Armed Forces to help Lebanon restore various aspects of its transport infrastructure.
