The Supreme Court proposes sentencing minors convicted of criminal offences to terms of imprisonment only in exceptional cases. The Court also proposes mitigating punishments for people who give themselves up, acknowledge their guilt or cooperate with the investigation.

Mr Lebedev also informed Mr Putin about the development of an automated information system that will give the public access to necessary information about the courts’ work.
