The changes provide that goods that cross the border of the Russian Federation within the limits of international cooperation in research and development of outer space, and agreements on services linked to launching space vehicles, will not have to incur customs duties or a value added tax.
The federal law is designed to ensure that the Russian Federation implements the most favoured nation principle with respect to granting customs privileges on goods associated with the space sector imported from countries with which the Russian Federation has concluded the corresponding international agreements
