In the Finnish capital, Helsinki, the Russia-Finland summit talks were held

Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Finnish counterpart, Tarja Halonen, had the one-to-one talks, then the delegations of two countries joined the heads of state.

Relevant issues of bilateral cooperation were discussed as well as Russia-EU relations.

Following the talks President of Russian Railways Vladimir Yakunin and President and CEO of VR-Group Ltd Henry Kuitunen signed an Agreement on Creating Joint-Stock Company “Karelian Trains Ltd.”

Then Mr Putin and Ms Halonen made press statements and answered journalists' questions.
