Dmitry Medvedev signed the Federal law on ratification of the Agreement between the governments of Russia and Kazakhstan on procedures for crossing the state border by residents of adjoining territories

The agreement makes it possible for residents of such territories to cross the Russian-Kazakhstani border not only at the official border crossings, thus simplifying border and customs formalities.
