The Council of Legislators is made up of the heads of the legislative bodies of state power of the regions of the Russian Federation. Chairman of the Upper House of Parliament, Sergei Mironov, heads the Council of Legislators.
The last Council session, held in July 2006 and with the participation of Dmitrii Medvedev, addressed problems linked to implementing priority national projects.
