Jordanian King Abdullah II warmly welcomed the President of Russia at Amman’s international airport. After a brief greeting ceremony the heads of state traveled to the President of Russia’s temporary residence in Amman in a car driven by the King of Jordan. They had a brief conversation at the residence.

During the conversation King Abdullah II expressed his confidence that Vladimir Putin’s visit will act as new stimulus to the development of Russian-Jordanian relations. In turn, the Russian head of state thanked the King for his warm welcome and hospitality, and confirmed that Russia intends to support the multifaceted development of relations between the two countries.
