Continuing their regular exchanges of views as part of the strategic partnership between Russia and Tajikistan, Mr Putin and Mr Rakhmonov discussed cooperation on regional issues, the implementation of important bilateral trade and economic projects, humanitarian cooperation, and other areas of relations between the two countries.
The two leaders exchanged views on preparations for the upcoming summits of the CIS and the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation – multilateral organisations in which both countries are members.
