Mr Putin congratulated Mr Bouteflika on his seventieth birthday.

Both leaders expressed their satisfaction with the joint efforts the two countries have made over recent years to develop their partnership and cooperation in a wide range of fields.

Mr Putin and Mr Bouteflika noted the importance of implementing the agreements reached during Mr Putin’s visit to Algeria. The two Presidents also reaffirmed their mutual commitment to developing coordination and cooperation in regional and international affairs.
