The Federal law ratifies the Protocol to the Agreement between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan on Delimiting the Northern Part of the Caspian Sea Bed in the Objective of Exercising Sovereign Rights to Mineral Resource Use.
The Protocol is designed to establish a legal regime for developing the Tsentralnaia and Khvalynskoe deposits according to the legal regime that already applies to the Kurmangazy deposit.
