Acting President Vladimir Putin reshuffled the Presidential Executive Office

Deputy Chief of Staff and Chief of the Protocol of the Presidential Executive Office Vladimir Shevchenko, Deputy Chief of Staff and Head of the Presidential Secretariat Valery Semenchenko and Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office Vladimir Makarov were relieved of their posts. Mr Shevchenko and Mr Semenchenko were appointed advisers to the acting president.

The acting president signed a decree on the dismissal of Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office and Press Attache for the President Dmitry Yakushkin. Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office Alexander Voloshin appointed Dmitry Yakushkin his aide.

Mr Putin also dismissed Boris Yeltsin’s daughter, Tatyana Dyachenko, from her post.
