Mr Kasyanov reported on the results of a visit by a governmental delegation to the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. He said the delegation attained its goal of reinforcing Russia’s position on the attraction of foreign investment.
Mr Putin and Mr Kasyanov also discussed the federal budget for February and March 2000, and the government’s efforts to fund the budgetary spending.
They also discussed the forthcoming talks in Moscow with James Wolfensohn, head of the World Bank, and coordinated their positions on drawing World Bank loans.
