Mr Putin and Mr Kasyanov discussed matters connected with the finance minister’s upcoming visit to Davos, Switzerland, to attend the World Economic Forum. Mr Kasyanov listed the main points of the report he planned to deliver at the forum, and described the agendas of his Davos meetings.
The finance minister also reported on the situation with collecting taxes to the federal budget in the first days of the current year and described preparations for talks with a delegation from the International Monetary Fund.
