Dmitry Medvedev signed the Federal Law 'On Ratification of the Treaty on Long-Term Good-Neighbourly Friendship and Cooperation among the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation Member States'

The Treaty was signed in Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan) on August 16, 2007.

The SCO member states are Russia, China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
