The Governor told the President about the region’s development and primarily development in the agricultural sector. According to Aleksandr Tkachev a good harvest is expected in Krasnodar Krai this year. Positive tendencies were also visible in the livestock breeding industry.

Speaking about the programme to develop southern Russia, the Governor confirmed that independently of whether or not the Olympic Committee decides to hold the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, the programme to develop southern Russia will be implemented.
