“Russia sees Italy as an honest and constructive partner. In many respects our bilateral relations can serve as a model of interstate cooperation in the 21st century.

“I hope at the forthcoming meeting we will be able to make a tangible contribution to the promotion of Russian-Italian dialogue and cooperation between our countries for the sake of peace and stability.”
