President Vladimir Putin held meetings with presidents of Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Armenia and Belarus

During the meeting with Uzbek President Islam Karimov, the two leaders discussed current issues related to bilateral cooperation in the fight against international terrorism.

The Russian President’s meeting with Turkmen President Saparmurat Niyazov focused on perspectives of bilateral cooperation in different spheres.

Mr Putin also chaired meetings with Armenian President Robert Kocharian and Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko.
