In his opening remarks President Putin pointed out that cooperation between the two countries in the military, technical and economic areas is a significant element of their bilateral relations. He specifically emphasized that strengthening cooperation with India was a priority for Russia and that the Russian-Indian relations in general had reached a very good level.
The Russian leader also said of his plans to pay an official visit to India in October.
