Mr Putin expressed his support for the idea of setting up a bilateral working group, Russia – USA: Looking to the Future, which would be co-chaired by Mr Kissinger for the United States and by Yevgeny Primakov for Russia.
Mr Kissinger said that U.S. President George W. Bush and Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice also agree with the proposal to establish the group.
