The President heard the ministers’ reports and ordered all necessary measures to be taken within the week to resume federal television broadcasting in Moscow and the Moscow Region.

Participants in the President’s previous meeting with members of the Government and heads of his Executive Office also discussed measures to repair the Ostankino television tower after the fire. Mr Putin stressed during the meeting that the tower accident vividly demonstrated the state of vital projects.
