Russian Navy Commander-in-Chief Vladimir Kuroyedov reported on the situation with the Kursk submarine to Vladimir Putin

Mr Kuroyedov keeps the President constantly informed about the rescue operation of the nuclear submarine Kursk, wrecked in the Barents Sea during a Northern Fleet exercise. The submarine has a crew of 118.

Prime Minister Mikhail Kasyanov decreed to set up an investigation commission. He will regularly report to the President about all results of its work.
