On behalf of the people of Tajikistan and on his own behalf Emomali Rakhmonov congratulated Vladimir Putin on his convincing and unassailable victory in the presidential election.
During the talk the two leaders expressed their firm conviction that cooperation and close interaction between Russia and Tajikistan would continue to develop for the benefit of the two nations, in the interests of peace and stability in Central Asia.
