“On this day we honour the memory of the fallen and celebrate the veterans who heroically faced Nazism, pay due tribute to the workers of the rear, and their selfless dedication to the Great Victory.

In the memory of this painful and difficult deed we will continue to strengthen the bonds of friendship, strategic partnership and alliance between Russia and Uzbekistan, whose peoples overcame severe, intense trials during the Great Patriotic War and paid dearly for the life of future generations.”
