Russia celebrated the 62nd anniversary of Victory in the Second World War

A military parade took place on Red Square in Moscow to celebrate the 62nd anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

President Vladimir Putin addressed the parade’s participants and congratulated the entire nation on Victory Day, calling it a date of tremendous moral significance and unifying force.

Following the parade, a reception to mark the Victory Day holiday was held at the State Kremlin Palace.
