President Vladimir Putin and Georgian President Eduard Shevardnadze reached an agreement on cooperation between Russian and Georgian services to investigate the reasons behind the crash of an Il-18, a Russian military transport aircraft, on October 25 near Batumi

During their telephone conversation, Mr Putin and Mr Shevarnadze agreed to cooperate. The Georgian President expressed his condolences on the tragedy.
