The President noted the praise Russia had received for its efforts as a participant in the Middle East peace process and underlined the determination of the Russian Government to step up efforts to stop the bloodshed as soon as possible and resume the peace process.

In his message, Mr Putin also confirmed Russia’s desire to closely cooperate with Morocco and other Arab countries in finding a settlement in the region.
