The Russian President will attend a meeting of the Supreme State Council of the Union State of Russia and Belarus and the CIS summit, and will also hold top-level bilateral talks.

Mr Putin told journalists at the Minsk airport that the latest resignations of Belarusian leaders were an internal affair of the republic. Mr Putin said he had discussed this issue with the Belarusian President, and he had told him this was a planned reshuffle. “We have no reason not to trust the President of a friendly country,” Mr Putin stressed.
