During a private conversation the President of Russia once again congratulated Nicolas Sarkozy on his election as head of state and the beginning of his presidential term.
During the conversation both parties expressed their firm determination to support the intensiveness and positive dynamic of the Russian-French political dialogue and cooperation in the trade and economic spheres.
In connection with this desire, the heads of state discussed preparations for contacts between various levels of government that will take place in the near future.
