The President congratulated the Russian hockey team on winning the bronze medal in the world hockey championship in Moscow. The Russian team has great chances of winning major international tournaments, Vladimir Putin said.
The head of state noted that the success of the world hockey championship in Moscow will improve Sochi’s chances of being able to host the 2014 Winter Olympics.
On behalf of the team, Viacheslav Bykov gave Vladimir Putin a white jersey autographed by all team members.
