The Federal Law ratifies the Protocol signed in Dushanbe on October 6, 2007. The amendments and addenda relate to the legal status of member states’ permanent missions at the CSTO, as well as the legal status of plenipotentiaries, staff and families.
In addition, the provisions of the Protocol extend relevant benefits and immunities of the Collective Security Treaty Organisation to CSTO Joint Headquarters (a permanent body of the CSTO and the Council of Defence Ministers).
