The President underlined the importance of ensuring security of all the people involved in the operation to lift the sunken nuclear submarine Kursk.
Mr Klebanov and Mr Kuroyedov briefed the President on the course of the operation. They said the timetable was generally observed, though some fluctuations had been caused by the weather, which could not affect the completion of the operation to raise the submarine and put it in dock.
