The two leaders discussed the situation in the region resulting from the current counter-terrorist operation in Afghanistan and welcomed their traditionally similar approaches to the worldwide struggle against the threat of terrorism.
They urged the world community to consolidate its action against terrorism and to condemn a policy of double standards capable of undermining the cohesion of the counter-terrorist coalition.
