Mr Putin and Mr Drnovsek focused on the fight against terrorism.
The President said that the tragic developments in the North Caucasus were yet another plot carried out by international terrorists against Russia and its citizens. The head of state said that the tragic events in the former Soviet Union and Eastern Europe had affected many people in that region. The international community is aware of the gravity of the situation, and eventually a way out will be found, Mr Putin said.
The two leaders also discussed the situation in the Balkans and various aspects of Russian-Slovenian relations.
