President Putin opened the function and congratulated the State Academic Bolshoi Theatre’s dedicated staff, including its company, which create great works of art.
The Russian leader signed a commendation thanking the Bolshoi Theatre for its substantial contribution to national culture. Mr Putin said this commendation was a modest gift to the Bolshoi Theatre, which has maintained its reputation as the nation’s No. 1 theatre for many years.
