Mr Mesic noted that relations between the two countries are showing steady development: the debt issue has been settled and economic and military cooperation is expanding. Mr Mesic also stated the need to liberalise the visa rules for travel between the two countries.
Mr Mesic stressed that Russia is an important partner not just for Croatia but for the whole of Southeast Europe.
