Addressing the conference, the President stressed that the country’s tax policy should be based primarily on the principles of stability and predictability.
Another key principle is a consistent and well-calculated reduction of the tax burden. In connection with the above statement, the President spoke about the introduction of a flat income tax rate and a unified social tax. He stressed that a 13% income tax rate was “a serious measure to last for years to come.” The third principle is the simplification and rationalisation of the tax system.
