The President’s congratulatory message reads, in particular:

“More than a century ago now, our countries laid the foundations for the traditions of friendship, mutual respect and trust that fully characterise Russian-Thai ties today. It is thanks to this heritage, and to the intensive bilateral contacts we pursue, including those at the highest level, that our cooperation in all areas is expanding steadily today.

We see the visit to Russia by Her Majesty Queen Sirikit as an important event and we are sure that it will open a new page in our countries’ relations and will contribute to their further enrichment”.
