Mr Putin and Mr Aliyev discussed bilateral cooperation in the economy and culture.
The two heads of state also touched upon a settlement in Nagorno-Karabakh in the light of the recent negotiations held between the leaders of Azerbaijan and Armenia at Key West in the United States. Mr Aliyev pointed to the great significance of the Russian delegation’s contribution to the negotiating process at Key West.
